Why we exist
3 BIG challenges:
- Decimation of our natural world;
- Global warming;
- 3 billion climate refugees by 2100.
These challenges are not desired outcomes of human activity, yet they did not happen by accident, so what’s the problem?
3 BIG problems:
- Governments are inconsistent and/or slow by design;
- Businesses have a duty to maximise shareholder value which takes from nature;
- Charity is reliant on free money, so is not scalable.
Relying on these systems to address the outcomes they created CANNOT and WILL NOT work.
We exist because alternative systems are required RIGHT NOW!
Systems that serve a specific purpose wrapped in a legal structure that decentralises power. One where all incentives for any person or entity within that system delivers intentional, positive outcomes for both people and planet weather they drive profit or not.
This is the Green Standard Token Decentralised Autonomous Organisation… you can see why we stick with the acronym GST DAO.
