1. Introduction:

Welcome to the Green Standard Token DAO. Our core ethos revolves around the protection and conservation of nature to combat climate change and bolster biodiversity.

  • Constitution: A document detailing the governance, operation, and protocols of GST DAO.

3. Membership and Token Ownership:

  • Eligibility: Holding GST in a digital wallet qualifies one as a member.

  • Rights & Responsibilities: Members are entitled to governance rights outlined in our Constitution. They can elect leaders, decide on land acquisitions, veto decisions, and create or vote on proposals. All actions must align with our special purpose which can be seen in the GST DAO Constitution.

4. Token Transactions:

  • Usage: Post-acquisition, there are no DAO enforced restrictions on GST usage.

  • Dispute Resolution: The DAO community must resolve transaction disputes, except disputes regarding GST’s initial minting, which involves administrative intervention.

5. Voting and Governance:

  • Model: Our governance model and voting protocols are detailed in our Constitution.

  • Execution: Initially voting is facilitated via a third-party system. Members can prevent any off-chain action, make pivotal decisions, and even dissolve the Foundation if necessary.

6. Land Assets and Management:

  • Protection: A board of Foundation Council Members, elected by the DAO, oversee the protection and appropriate use of land assets. Breaches can result in land steward ousting, liquidation, or legal action.

  • Usage Guidelines: Outlined in our Constitution.

7. Liabilities and Disclaimers:

  • Liabilities: Members hold no liability over DAO held assets due to the structure of our organisation.

  • Investment Disclaimers: While we feel that GST represents a better form of money, members should evaluate our token-value stabilisation protocols and decide their holdings responsibly.

8. Privacy and Data:

  • Data Management: DAO administrators do not store member data; interactions occur on third-party community forums; third-party voting systems; with all transactions completely pseudonymous and on-chain.

  • Protection Principles: Members should be aware of digital wallet data protection principles available on respective sites.

9. Membership Termination:

  • Termination: Selling or losing GST ends or pauses membership.

  • Modifying Involvement: Members can either sell their GST, abstain from voting, or influence decisions based on the volume of GST held in specific circumstances.
