The decimation of nature, insufficient and disjointed institutional systems, a global population angry at a lack of action which has caused mass apathy and inaction. This is a massive opportunity for alternative win:win, positive-sum, scalable systems that are valuable for all people and create economically, socially and environmentally sustainable outcomes. GST DAO is one of these systems. 

Within our ecosystem we have included the components necessary for a complete system including incentive-drivers that have  nature and human positive outcomes. Existing under a legal framework that is ownerless and borderless with a decentralised governance structure to ensure transparency while acting as a check to balance the authority of any off-chain administrative actors. All of which must operate to serve our special purpose and help to achieve our collective mission to make nature the world’s largest landowner using the Green Standard monetary system. 

If protected land is currency and currency is protected land then land will always be protected, because humans never intentionally destroy money. The impact of restoring our natural world will be an increase in biodiversity, carbon sequestration, a reversal of global warming and a reduction in climate poverty while creating economic development in-step with nature restoration. 

New models are inevitable because they are necessary.
