4.7. Minting NFTs

Those who mint GST are referred to as “Minters” and receive a minting NFT as proof of that transaction. There are three types of minting NFTs, one each for raises, donations and exchanges, though they all have the same function.

Supply

Minting NFTs are created every time land is acquired and GST is minted. Minters will then collect their minting NFTs alongside their GST and transfer them into their digital wallets.

Utility

Initially acting as a receipt or proof of transaction which will include several data points, as listed below:

  • Data on the specific parcel of land
  • How much GST was minted
  • How much USD was contributed

Demand

These NFTs will be collectibles that also act as proof one has minted GST, like a receipt. Both the Treasury and DAO community can also reward those who hold minting NFTs in various ways. Minters are a vital part of our community and as such, community rewards may be weighted towards them.
